So I scored with the Sears Shop Your Way Rewards games. $100 in points won and $15 in that free cash thing. Problem is I don't know what to get. I've gotten so much over the last few years and now there's not a whole lot left. What to get?

Honestly, if there isn’t something you need, buy something with a good resale value and sell it. Then you have cash. The thread restorer kit comes to mind as it’s the same as the Snap On. Shouldn’t have any problem dumping it for close to if not actual purchase price.

I have somehow found myself with similarly large points balance a few times. I bought Knipex pliers, Wera screwdrivers (both shipped direct from the manufacturer, as I recall) and for local pickup Dewalt batteries - I used to think that you can never have too many batteries, but after a few years of these Sears points deals I have had to rethink! Local stores still have Dewalt power tools as well.

I also have a pretty nice set of hammers from Sears - they still have a good range of USA made hammers and I think Nupla makes their dead blow hammers - if you can find them. Stock at my local stores has been getting worse.

Good suggestion, I just purchased the 48 piece version this morning, Sears also has a 40 piece, get the bigger set. I purchased from Sears Hometown website for $59.98, Sears on-line wants $74.99 for the same set. Had $54.14 in SYWR points, plus sales tax, shipped to my house for $9.93.

That’s always my fall back. Underwear and socks from Kmart. Minimum shipping is $25 so it’s not hard to get to that price. You can place one order from Sears and Kmart at the same time also. Some items from each if it allows it. Kmart is generally cheaper for those items too.

Even some of the more expensive power tools? There's lots of non-craftsman brand stuff that can be used with SYW points...

I would check your acct, but I *think* winning $100 in points they are good for a year, not just the usual 2 weeks... But I could be wrong...
