Need help valuing these items for a family

Well long story short husband of a woman passed away and has left her with a bunch of stuff she has no clue what its worth could you help to put a value on these

First up is this big metal bandsaw im pretty sure its a Johnson model j unsure if it works as the plug end is missing gonna try to put a new one on and see what happens

Second item is a Shopsmith mark 2 has the saw attachment and the drill chuck plugged it in and works good everything seems to be in working order

I don't know about the band saw, the Shop Smith maybe a couple hundred, cardboard about fifty a ton and the pallets would be ten bucks for the stack, probably less down to having to pay to have them hauled away.

That is an early shopsmith, but not valuable. I bought one at auction exact same model to flip (mistake). I paid $35 for it. I could not sell it for $50 so I scrapped it...I don't think you'll get anywhere near a couple hundred for it. that model is not at all desirable. the newer models are what SOME people like, but even those can be hit or miss on price.

the metal saw is probably worth $200 if it works

I. Agree with Gugatim unfortunately not much value there. I was given a Shop Smith like that and wound up tossing it. That said it may have some collectibility for right buyer or if somebody needs parts to restore another. Put it up on eBay and see what happens. You could probably sell bandsaw on local Craig's List for a couple hundred but depends on condition. Pallets are usually free in my area if you are willing to haul them off.

It's a buyers market for Shopsmiths. There's a glut of them on CL and for some reason the seller's think they're worth more then they are and never sell until prices are go way down.

Maybe $100 for the Shopsmith and $250 for the Bandsaw.

I saw the exact same Shop Smith at the flea market with a price tag of 50 bucks. It's still there. The seller said he had one offer on it for 30 bucks and he turned down the offer.
