Need help Wiring bench grinder

Have craftsman 1hp bench grinder need to hook wire don't no where they go got 4 prong switch ,compactor red an black wires, motor has 2 red ,1 blue, 1 white, 1 black ,an power cord ,light was removed can anyone please help it a craftsman model 319211280

You are probably going to have to find someone local to look at it. Maybe an electric motor shop ? Either that or post some real good pictures with descriptions of where each wire is routed to now. It should not be too hard to figure out.

Based on the number of wires, was it a multispeed grinder and was connected to a switch panel to control the speeds? Or was it designed to work on 240 volts? Otherwise I can't see why a grinder would have multiple power wires.

Based on pics found on the internet with this part number, it is 120volt, single speed grinder. The switch looks to be simply on/off so the light would be in parallel with the motor.

Trace the leads to the light so they be eliminated from the motor wiring.
