I am in the process of building a work shop on one side of the house and want to run a sub panel to the shop. the outside wall of the house will be part of the shop so will I need to put grounding rods in? the panel in the house is rated for 200 amps so I was thinking I would run a 100 amp sub panel to the shop now I most likely wount need that much but ya never know. the panel in the house is about 3 ft from the wall of the new shop if this helps. thanks for any help and if pictures are needed let me know.

It's attached to the house so no ground rods required. Don't be stingy with the size of the panel, 16 or 24 spaces should leave a lot of options, 6,8, are worthless & even 12 spaces can be also.
