Need help with a small engine

We recently replaced a pressure washer at work due to failure of the engine. I took it apart and found that the head gasket was blown and the valves were in need of a serious adjustment. However I have no idea what/who made this engine. I have some pictures which include a serial number. I googled it and I keep coming back with some Chinese company. I'd really like a parts book and a manual with torque specs so i can fix it and put it back together.

If it is not a common known small engine manufacture, it it a throw away engine. Unless you find parts somewhere dirt cheap, it is not worth fixing. Cheap weedwackers and chainsaws have been that way for awhile. They are so cheap to buy new, you can't fix them for less. Also a lot of cheap small engine are rated for only 50 hour engine life.

Possibly a HF knockoff of Honda? I see them on sale for $100-150 IIRC at HF. Probably not worth repairing as it will be hard to find parts.

I read somewhere that some of the better honda clones are close enough copies that parts sometimes will interchange, but unsure if that's true or not. I generally stick to my B&S/Kohler stuff

Except now some of the cheaper Briggs and "straight irons" are made by the cheap Clone companies. I have a friend who works for one of the big engine companies and he tells me that the engine plants overseas cover several blocks and that many brands are made on the same lines. Just different inspectors and colors on the engine. he claims to have visited one on a Business trip.

So apparently there are a ton of these 6.5 HP engines which are clones of honda GX200 engines. Some people have had good luck using OEM honda parts. I'm going to start there, and see how it goes. Thanks guys.

dont worry about head bolt torque, just do the valve hob find the model number and get a new head gasket.

Cheap Kholer are the same way. A shame really. This year Toro will be transitioning almost all its walk behind lawn mowers to china engines. The new trend seems to be getting a contract with these clone companies then slapping your name on it.
