Need Help with Ceiling height

Hey guys been lurking for awhile now and getting ready to pull the plug on a 28x32ft Garage. Have 1 question on ceiling height. What is the high you need to lift a car up.From Ground to ceiling height? Was thinking on going with 12Ft walls, plus will have the 8inch block that the walls sits on, so in theory you have a 12'8 wall correct? thinking Two post lift.Don't have Make yet but just want to plan it out for future growth.

i did my addition with 13' ceilings. you can do 4 post lifts with as little as 10'. 12' would be fine for either 2 or 4 post lifts. just make sure that you pour a 6" slab and i would use 4,000psi mix (that's what i did at nominal extra cost).

p.s. put some extra steel in the slab also.
