My (new to me) 75-200k BTU tophat radiant propane heater needs a new hose for the regulator-to-heater connection. Mine leaked like heck on the trial run, at the fitting that exits the regulator.
Anyway, I ran the info on the hose through Google, and found the following info: It's a ChuanHseng CHC 0201 1/4" I.D. with 350 PSI working pressure and 1750 PSI burst pressure. -40 degree to 60 degree Celcius working temperature.
This hose is Chinese, and I'd prefer something USA, but since I don't know exactly what I need in terms of fittings on each end, I figured I'd try and find info on the original part and let that guide my selection of a replacement.
I'm hoping someone here can help me figure out what I need.
The sticker on the hose says it's from Desa Heating Products. The sticker also has the number MH28601. One end has a male fitting, the other end a female fitting. The male fitting is too large to thread into the female fitting; I don't know what size or pitch either is.
I see that hoses come in all kinds of lengths and with a variety of fittings on each end. I don't want to order the wrong thing and lose time getting this going.
Is this enough info to get some help?
