The arms on my newly installed lift were off more than yours. Without a car and the pads touching in the middle there was a full inch difference between the left and right side arms. My concrete was level and the posts were plumb but my lift wasn't even close to being level . A car on it would lean to the left and looked really bad.
After looking at it for a while I loosened all 12 anchor bolts and put a jack under the extended arm that was low. When I raised the jack the entire lift shifted to one side. I placed some shims in the gap under both columns and lowered the jack. The pads were closer to level but not quite perfect so I jacked it up and added some more shims to get it perfectly level.
I am very happy with the results. The shims I used were only .035 inch thick. I used 2 shims at 3 bolts on each post so I only raised each post .070 inch on one side. My posts are now slightly out of plumb but a car sits perfectly level and the posts are still parallel.
You can't see that the posts aren't plumb unless you put a level on them. It definitely looks better than it did before I shimmed it and it works great.
If you decide to shim your lift over instead of raising the post straight up the anchor bolts you already have will be plenty long.
