Need help with old Unisaw disassembly.

I started to take apart a 1944 Delta Unisaw today. Everything went great but I'm can't quite lift out the trunnion assembly as I had hoped.

The rod that attaches to the hand wheel that changes blade angle protrudes too far out of the side of the saw for me to tilt and lift the assembly out.

The rod in question is the one running left to right in this picture and sticking out on the right side of the saw in this picture.

It runs into this collar. I believe this is a pin I need to punch out but want to make sure before I start banging on it.

I'm getting old. I forgot about that series. I think I watched an episode where he took the motor apart and found a bunch of dark build up in it. But that was months ago.

Turns out it was just a build up of some crud and sawdust that didn't allow me to shimmy the pieces around to slide them out. Stared at those parts for 30 minutes trying to figure out what the problem was.

That was a pin in that collar and it did come out but turns out I didn't need to.

I have 2 Unisaw's but not that old. I have rebult several old shapers.
I knew it had a pin. Old dust can make things stick.
I have a couple of extra cast iron side wings for the top if you need one or two. They fit the shaper and table saw.
Wood working machinery is dirt cheap sense the recession. Now is the time to hold out and find the good stuff. You will never get it cheaper unless we have a depression and the way gold, silver and the stock market have fallen in the past 10 days we might be headed there.

I have a couple of extra cast iron side wings for the top if you need one or two.

I only have the main table so two wings would be great. There is a cast iron wing extension for sale locally that is set up to be a router table. I should see if it's still available and will match up with an old Unisaw like this. In that case I'd only need one.
