Hello to everyone, I'm new to the site and could use some help with a reddy heater pro 200. From the beginning let's go back 2 weeks ago, the heater ran for about an hour and a half got up to temperature and shut down, when I called for heat it ran for about 10 minutes and shut down. So after messing with trying it over and over again it got worse then no fuel at all, took it apart and found that the fuel solenoid was not working, replaced it, checked the pump pressure and set to 6.2, replaced the fuel and air tubing, testerd the photo cell and thermostat. Now the heater starts and sprays fuel, runs for 5 seconds and shuts down.. oh I also swapped the circuit board with one from another that runs and I get the same results! Any advice would be greatly appreciated

A photocell changes a milli-volt value range. Jumping it out of the circuit may not be the type of voltage response the circuit board expects to see.

So then your saying I can't rule out the photo cell. Would there be a way to test it other than bypass? And what would the name of that place be in the Akron area?
