I live in Cleveland, Ohio.

Have a Nature Stone garage floor. They sell a "top coat" which is a clear epoxy which you're supposed to roll onto the floor every few years as maintenance.

It's been about a month and has completely cured. Photo is attached.

However, I accidentlly spilled some of this onto my cement drive in front of the garage.

Now I can't seem to remove it. They told me to use Acetone (did not work) and then WD-40 (lol, did not work).

I tried a small heat gun but that did not soften it up much at all.

Any ideas on what I can do to remove this?

Please help. Thanks.

That is why epoxy is so popular. It is strong!!
Xylene will only soften it, not remove.

Grinding is about the only way to remove. I would let mother nature take it away naturally over time vs. making a bigger mess.

What do you mean exactly by grinding? I'd prefer to resolve this now if that can be done without making a bigger mess.

Do you know what's involved here? Who would I contact to do this type of work?

Any grinding you do will take that pretty broom swept finish off your concrete. It will ruin the finish.

Forget it. Over time, uv rays will crack it, make it brittle, and it will flake away.
