I need help asap on this shower cartridge. It started dripping and now its leaking too much. I took out the cartridge and the local Home Depot had nothing close. The house was built about 20 years ago. There is no marking on the valve handle.

The cartridge it's self is two piece and has four mounting holes that go into the brass body in the wall behind the tile. Any help or ideas is greatly appreciated!!

I would recommend taking it to a plumbing supply house. I've had great luck doing that with oddball things, and usually the price justifies the time saved running to different places. Good luck!

If it is off breed ChiCom valve and if the house is a tract home it probably is a no name valve, it will be fun finding parts. Is there any branding on the valve body? That would give something to go by.

Yep, find a plumbing supply store. They'll take one look, grunt, and grab one out of a drawer.

The big boxes won't have it.

I called a local place and they asked me to email some pictures. Thanks for the idea!

Its not a tract home at all. I think the name on the white plate got scrubbed off over the years. There are no markings I could find on the body of the cartridge. We bought the house about a year after it was built.
