That isn’t a Snap-on date code that I recognize. The dykes are similar to mine although with a different logo and slightly different part number. My pair doesn’t have any date code.

That looks most like a hexagon stamp for the year 2000, but I thought those pliers would be much older.

They are from 2000. I bought a set that came with 3 pliers and clippers 20 years ago. Still have them and use them.

For reasons I cannot explain, Snap-On did not use their modern logo on these.

Exactly this, I can’t explain, I thought the cutters are a lot older
