I think you can get close $500 or more if you sell it all separately on Craigslist/offerup/FB Marketplace. $110ish for each socket set, $130+ for the vintage kit. $25 for the ratchet. This assumes the sets are complete with no 'filler' sockets. Nothing for the thin wrenches or speeder and old brake tools. Snap-on or not, nobody uses them, and they are EVERYWHERE.

Selling separately will be a pain though. You MIGHT be able to sell the whole thing for $325-$350. but probably not until after the holidays.

The prices I gave are on the high end, if you are patient.

X2 - since "got" is somewhat imprecise, it's impossible for us to say whether it will be easy money or not.

If you paid too much in cash, labor or barter, selling will be lots of work for little profit.

If they were freebies and if you net $500, Christmas looks better.

As Mike says, don't spend the money before it's in the bank.

I recently sold some socket sets on ebay, I would expect about $80 after shipping and fees for each of those sets. Not sure how it works in Canada though. If you really want to know value - look in your local listings.

It depends on your local used tool market or where you're selling it. The sockets should be relatively easy to unload. You should be able to get at least 1/3 of the new price back on the sockets and service set. As for the ratchet, spinner handle, brake spring tools, and Bonney wrenches, good luck. For the ratchet and spinner handle, you'll probably need to find a tool collector or hobbyist that's interested. All professional mechanics these days have loads of high tooth count ratchet options and power tools. For the brake spring tools, you'll need to find a buyer that knows what those are for. As for the Bonney wrenches, brand name recognition may be a problem.

Ebay advanced search has an option to view sold items which will show you how much they are currently selling for. List them at just under that price and they should sell in a day or two.

I would be happy to have them if i were that person . They are expensive tools and hold their resale value if they are in excellent condition like those are in pic you posted . So to answer your friends question . Yeah they are valuable enough to get a nice amount of quick cash if you sell them to the right person (not a pawn shop)

The speeder handle has no value other than to a collector. Ebay is glutted with listings for speeders and they do not sell.

The two brake adjusting tools are for older Bendix type drum brakes and have a fairly limited market application currently. I would not expect too much return on those.

The Bonney "Zenel" wrenches are collector items (as well as the pouch) but value depends entirely on condition and whether a prospective buyer needs or wants that particular set.

I don't know a damn thing about Snap-on, sorry. It's not one of the brands I collect.

Go to Ebay. Click on "Advanced" at upper right. Enter brand name of product in top box (and part number or item description if applicable.)

Scroll down just a bit and click "sold items".

You can narrow search parameters further by selecting "new" or "used", and there are other options to narrow search parameters as well.

Down at the bottom under "sort by" select "newly listed" so you see the most recently sold items.

Search results will show selling prices, but they do not show the actual price the item sold for if it was listed with a "best offer" option.
Ergo: Ebay "sold" listings can be (and are) somewhat misleading and cannot really be taken at face value. As a source for a general guideline they will generally be close enough to give a rough idea of "value".
