Can anyone tell me what this is? Got it in a job lot of automotive tools, was with in a box with a slide hammer, panel beating equipment, spring compressors, valve tools, a small cylinder hone etc... I can't work it out. No markings, looks like it was lathe turned. Seems to be high quality. Thanks :)018df80cad43d579a924d150cfc8517f.jpg

It's not showing up too well on my screen but it looks like a long reach carburettor adjusting tool - so you can set mixture without removing the air cleaner.

Thanks, might be a bit big for that though, I should have probably posted the size, it's about 12" long with a 1/2" or so shank. Bottom end is tapered, then has about an inch of thread. Looks like it screws into something. Will get some better pics tomorrow. Cheers

I believe that it is a specialized puller. Screw the shaft into whatever with the thin bar then use the knurled handles to turn the nut up to a shoulder and pull whatever. Pulling something pressed into a deep bore? It might go through a bore and slip in a bushing and a nut and pull the bushing into the bore?

no neat sig line
