Need Help With Vintage SK

I've been sorting, taking pictures and looking up prices for all of my SK stuff to get it ready to sell. Most things can be found on ebay to give me an idea of value. But I have not found any sold listings for tools with the "SK Chrome" marking. Pictures included. Any help is appreciated.

There's also a couple pictures of early drivers that are not marked "SK Chrome" but look nearly identical. I'm not sure what that means if anything.

Read the info on Alloy Artifacts about the SK Chrome markings. I believe they were pretty early.

I'd say they are more valuable than later SK sockets and would price them like Snap On from the same era and condition.

SK tools from that era are some of the best made. The issue you have is that there are many other USA brands from the same time period that are just as good and in plenty of supply.

The tools pictured are extremely common, in fair condition, and so they fall into the category of old, high quality, but not of great value.

You use the term, "market value" when discussing them. ********* collectors who want tools are very specific about condition. Your tools are well used and hence, don't carry any premium in the, "tool market". Even if they were mint, they are of the most common tools SK made. Read, not rare, no premium.

All of that said, given all things mentioned above, you will be lucky to get 50 bucks for the lot.

I have a fair amount of the chrome series. They usually don't bring any more than the standard knurled I have found when buying them on eBay.

SK should have stuck with industrial finished and skipped the whole "krome' mantra. Sadly their ratchets and steel are top notch but have no resale value due to them being relatively unknown, especially in the younger and vehicle only crowd.Williams, Wright and Proto are others that come to mind. The last 2 actually have "super" chrome.
Jeez. I just named my four favorite US brands. Ireenee is right. I'm an old fart

A few pictures with the diamond logo: (not sure I have any sockets with the chrome lettering but I can check and see).

Maybe show all sides of the sockets, maybe there are some other numbers or markings on them.

3/8 drive never had knurled band on them ever. Not sure why but I have a few of the chrome 3/8 they are decently hard to find. Nice sockets
