Need Help with Warehouse Move - Northern NJ

I'm moving to a new warehouse and need help relocating inventory and equipment used on garage projects. Thanks guys.......I have until the end of the month to get out of my existing warehouse. I'm moving product over in stages to better organize what I have. This is a 12-18 month relocation during which I'll continue to sell off older items, downsize a bit, a prepare for a permanent relocation to Charlotte/Mooresville NC.

I've already moved the BMW parts and Festool inventory and still have lots of business and household inventory plus 7 sections of Lista storage wall and 20 sections of shelving.

The people on this list have a better appreciation of what I do and the products I sell. I can move the stuff by myself as I have in the past but I'm not as young as I used to be and having a helper takes a lot of the stress out of still having 40,000 lbs of stuff still to move. In addition, I sold my F150 last year and for the first time since 1991, I don't own a truck. There's a U-haul rental center 100yds from my warehouse but if you have an open pickup truck with a full size bed or something larger, this will accomodate just about anything I have to move.

Started my move this week. Ending up renting a 14' U-haul and hired 2 local customers to help with the move. It turns out, 2 people plus myself worked out well at the end of the shortened work session.....1 to lock up the warehouse and the other to drive me to the emergency room after almost cutting my ear off with some Lista shelving.

I'll need 2 people again to move some more shelving units over....I'm not supposed to do anything crazy until the stiches come out next week. Anyone have a few hours this Sunday? Nothing really heavy this weekend and nothing longer than 8' in length. Steve D

I appreciate the offer guys....please email me your phone numbers or give me a call today at 201-262-0412. Not sure of the weather tomorrow so it might be best for me to rent a U-haul again or cargo van. We can discuss.

Can't afford to pay more than $10/hr (the Emergency room & plastic surgeon' bill really blew my move budget) but the offer for any products at my dealer cost (including Facom & Festool) still holds. I'll buy lunch!

I've been a garage/tool enthusiast for over 30 years........a very eclectic mix of products being moved. Steve D

Thanks....the move to Charlotte is on hold for at least another year. Need to sell the house here first (not a good market right now) or at least get a good tenant to take care of maintenance while we're out of town.

I wish I would have seen this post earlier, I would have helped move you, I purchased several Facom tool modules previously and they are my favorite tools to date. If you need any help moving I can help during any of the next few weekends. Sorry to hear about your ear.
