need help....

I drain the oil in my compressor and filled it with what I thought was compressor oil, but looked at the bottle and it said air tool oil....can i run that in there? what other oil can I use besides compressor oil??

I would drain it and use compressor oil.

Non-detergent compressor oil only.
A quart at Sears is around $5.

Drain and replace.

Run as-is and you will FUBAR teh compressor.

Air tool oil is very lightweight, like ATF. It has lubrication properties, but gets very

thin when hot. Too thin for an air compressor.
