Need High-Build Epoxy Recommendation for Rough Floor

I used a shot-blaster to remove builder-grade paint from my garage floor. The process was much easier in concept than it was in reality. It was slower to break through the paint but very aggressive on the concrete once breakthrough occurs. As such, it was very difficult to get even. The resulting surface is very rough, with many aggressively pitted spots. The inaccessible edges at the walls are smooth (but chemically stripped). Next time I try a grinder...

Most pitted areas have pits about 25 mils deep, but there is also a reasonable volume of pits to about 40 mils, with the largest being about 80 mils deep.

I would like to do a high-build epoxy with a clear top coat while hiding the underlying unevenness. Is there any product you can recommend?

You might consider a product like Dayton Level-Layer or Ardex K15. These are cementitious self-leveling toppings. Either would give you a nice floor surface for epoxy.

Excellent idea, thanks. Is there any durability concern in terms of chipping or otherwise?

Had a buddy who used U-coat it in his garage with a lot of deep pits - check the U-coat it web site - think they have a self-leveling product. Garage turned out great, but don't know how deep my buddy's worse ones were...

Trying to get him to join this forum as he has a great detached garage/shop, but he is computer incompatible….
