Alright so boredom is setting in once more. I've made some grappling hooks and a bike fender. I already have a welding cart (An old botton rollcab) and I'm looking for some ideas on what I should make. I have the $89.99 Harbor Freight welder. Please give me some ideas. Would rather do a bunch of smaller projects like <$20 or less rather than one big project. I am 15 years old and still picking up on some tips. Thanks!!

Make yourself a welding table and then save for a better welder. The welding table will be a good project to help you get familiar with squaring things up and leveling it all out. That is a very good skill to have when getting into fabricating. Patience will be your friend (I'm still working on that as well).

I agree with all.. Make yourself a welding/work table.. But just don't make it.. Draw it out on a piece of paper, think through it... Hitch receivers for vises and other removable future tools, weight load/capacity, etc.... Welding is art and skill... At 15, learn how to think through and plan your approach..Can't tell you how much doodling and paper I use for just different ideas.. A good table will last you a life time.
