Greetings, I’m in the process of relocating some 40’s-50’s era steel shelving (24’x3’x7’) and am hung up on whether to repaint them or not. Time & the Midwestern climate have taken their toll: there is light surface rust, chipping paint and general wear & tear.

Obviously there’s a lot of surface area involved here & quite a bit of potential for a long drawn out project. Has anybody out there been through a similar experience & have any words of wisdom to share?

Thanks!
