I stopped at a friend's house the other day and he had a pile of things headed to the dump. I noticed a cast iron frame and looked closer. It was an old Rockwell lathe, complete with stand and a motor. He said someone gave it to him years ago , but it didn't run. Never had a lathe before. The price was right, so I took it. There were no tools or any other parts. Does anyone know more about this machine ? Is it worth putting some time into ? Is there anything important that seems to be missing? Are there parts available ?
