I’m looking to install some led lights in my new shop. I had some 4 ft 2 bulb led lights in m old shop and was really pleased with them. I checked the calculations and I would need appx 24 for the new shop. I’m trying to cut down on all the wiring. The shop is a 30x48x12, it will have white metal ceilings and walls. It will be used for maintenance, some assembly, wood and metal working and have a 2 post lift. I am looking at these...

I was thinking of getting 7 of these to cut down on all of the wiring. Good/bad idea?

@smokeeaterff I just ordered 22 of the same fixtures linked to you for my 30x60x12. Assuming the quality is fine this is a very good deal on diffused lens 2' fixture. It will probably be 2-3 weeks before mine are installed but I will try to come back to one of the threads referencing them and post my opinion.

Please do. It’ll be a few weeks before I order. Hoping they get my metal up on the outside pretty quick. I want to get the floor done and then insulate the walls. Trying to decide on how to do my electrical. Either exposed conduit or behind the metal panels. Any advice there?

Mine's stick framed so I'm just running everything through the studs and over the trusses with drywall covering it up. I've been working my tail off prepping the concrete for epoxy because we have a few days next week in the high 50's low 60's.

Isn't a 12 foot ceiling height a little low for high bay fixtures? With mounting, the bottom of the fixture will be at 11'-11.5'.
