Building 30x40x12 metal bldg have poor eyesight so which would be better t5 or t8 led? Am concerned about glare if any.
Are you really considering Fluorescent lighting for a new install? LED is the way to go.Building 30x40x12 metal building poor eyesight best lighting for bldg t5 or t8
T5 and T8 are the configuration, not the light output. I can't imagine enough light in any garage situation that would cause problems with glare unless you work with reflective surfaces. I look for tubes around 5,000 lumens and 5000C colour temp to get what works for me. You can always add, subtract or move lights around, but IMHO you need enough sources that you don't have shadow issues rather than worrying about glare.Building 30x40x12 metal bldg have poor eyesight so which would be better t5 or t8 led? T= tubular, 5 and 8 refer to the diameters in eight of a inch.t5 & t8 are only the pin configurations, nothing to do with light specifications.
