Here is my garage lighting situation, not nearly enough to light up the garage. I considered getting one of those deformable led lights and a base to replace the florescent setup. I also have an outlet available where the opener is plugged into. Maybe something that is linkable with a pull cord to plug into that? Would like some suggestionsc564bbc8abf65a3aa181555ccc22c989.jpg5426c857a9e6a1291f5f13b091d514e3.jpgd4f66264db781ad199eecf125488cb20.jpgafa59fa0956bf7ae33e38ada203c7698.jpg

Was thinking about getting some of the Braun 4 foot ones from harbor freight today. Then eventually converting the florescent to the same, just gotta add an outlet to that fixture since these Braun ones are all plug-in

I have 8 of these lights that I got at Costco. I installed receptacles in the ceiling. They are linkable, so I have two circuits with three lights and one circuit with two lights. 25x25 garage. a43bbd0a87752dd43734686c4f66bd4c.jpg

I wouldn't put those type of lights in if they were free. But that's just me.

So many good options out there that are inexpensive and good.

You say not to put Feit lights in, but you don't mention why not or the other options of lights. So, what are the other options of good lights you would recommend?

Strip light housing with direct wire led tubes.

This has been covered quite a bit. Platonicsolid has put quite a bit of time into the best fixture thread.

Feit is easily the shadiest company in the lighting business. Cant trust anything they say or build.
Get something from a legit lighting manufacturer. Maxlite, Eiko, Saylite, TechBrite, Satco are a few examples. And try to support your local supply house.
