Need more moderators

I never said anything about reposting spam. Where did you get that out of my statement?

I can see your second post in this topic that you later removed and you re posted a removed SPAM post with links to wrestling (WWE LIVE STREAM etc.). Never quote or re post spam posts.

I'm a moderator on one site, and an administrator on another, and that was the case on both. I was asked. I third site, I asked to be a moderator, but it was a site associated with where I'm an administrator. I bailed because the chemistry was totally **** ****. In fact, that site is only moderators because they ran everyone off, then the site was sold because it kept dwindling.

So now you know why the GJ runs so well. You had your hands full doing all that.

I've been on here at 2 in the morning when every single new post that filled the page was spam, and not a moderator around to kill it. The spammer last night luckily only did two posts because those posts were on at least two hours so sometimes it's hard to ignore!

All you have to do when you see it is report it. Move on and enjoy the forum and do not get so uptight about it. It will be dealt with as soon as a report is read or it is seen by a Mod.

If you see it and report it then you have done your bit to help run the forum and keep it tidy.
We do have Mods in different time zones so that helps.

I copied and pasted a portion of his post for your reference and then immediately deleted it, and I can assure you that no on saw it, I removed it that quickly. By copying it, it killed the links. I wasn't promoting his spam, I was merely pointing out who it was with respect to his **** being on here for at least two hours, then decided to use his title as a reference instead. Self corrected. You can delete this thread if you like. It's a dead horse.

We see plenty of SPAM in many places on the forum be they stand alone topics or replies to other topics.

Some times we even remove spammers before they post as they have a name that looks out of place and then a IP address search verifies and they are gone before they get a look in.

Admin and all the Mods here can not see all and often rely on other members hitting the report button. In doing so you are doing a great service to all on the GJ forum. If you see spam follow the rules for us to deal with it as that is what makes this forum what it is a great place for us to all enjoy.

Remember it is of great help if you report spam posts and some times it may be a time before it is dealt with but once reported it will be dealt with.
