I only buy IR...love the customer service and have had great luck in all my years using them. Now with that being said, I have never owned an IR air ratchet... been using an old blue point and it finally quit. rebuild kit is more than a new ratchet and i just want a shiny new thing, you know....

SOOO what IR air ratchets y'all use and how do you like them???

You might check out the kit at lowes including impact. IR, $150 for 3/8 ratchet and 1/2" 231 gun. The gun alone is worth atleast $100-$120. Sell it a little cheap if you have no use.

This would be in a professional daily abuse environment....do you have one is it ok? anything sold at lowes kinda scares me hahaha but if it is ok in actual use i would consider it

It is ingersoll rand, not private label.

I kind of dislike air ratchets and try not to use them, although I do have a coworker who uses them. He is running that IR kit from lowes.

I have that combo. So far so good for me, but I'm just the occasional DIYer at this point, so your use is going to much higher

I have an IR 111 3/8" air ratchet, it's 20 years old and I can't kill it...and my knuckles thank me for it... its got a mechanism that doesn't jamb your knuckles against something that will remove skin....

I also have a IR 231 impact gun and IR 105 1/4" ratchet both as old, with no problems on either unit

IR1107 here.

Used for light to medium mfg. and assembly work.
Used way more than you would as an auto tech and it's running like a champ. No issues.

LOL.

If it makes you feel even better, the IR is used daily. My backup is a Blue Point AT700C. My backup backup is an older IR and my backup backup backup is a HF Central Pneumatic.

That should about cover it.

Also, there are rebuild head kits for the 1107 all day long. Not super cheap to fix but well supported by the mfgr.

HAHAHA yeah that is good to hear gives me warm fuzzy feelings LOL I don't like to buy junk because it is like throwing my money away so it is good to hear a review before I buy something. It's not a lot of money either way really if I think about it, probably not even worth the time to worry about looking at the big picture, (shoot my divorce cost me 200 thousand) but I still like to hear from owners of products before I spend money on them... thanks!

Best of luck to you sir.......mine was rough, we couldn't settle it out of court- she wanted all of my assets even though she was a stay-at-home wife our whole marriage (my mistake) it went to court and she turned on the water works for the female judge and I got absolutely raped....it's a tough fight, courts are on the woman's side 9/10.

.

NY is an 'equitable' distribution state...everything is split 50/50, with more being given to the person who contributed more...you get out, what you put in, for the most part...

although, 'home makers' that don't/didn't have careers were entitled to more distribution, and mandatory maintenance fees, based on pre-set, non negotiable, state mandated, percentages of gross income....(the democratic way) basically take from those that have and give to those that don't...

what happened to the days of Henry VIII??????
