Need observation port cover

I have an old Ideal in floor gas heater that works fine but the observation port cover has no gasket and Gas co. says it must be replaced with new one that has a gasket and glass viewer. The tube that it covers is 1.25" in dia. and is round. Where can I get this? I am having no luck finding this although I know it exists for I recently saw a new one on a different heater.

Don't know where you might find parts, if all else fails, google isinglass, and make your own cover.

I'm not sure what it is you need, can you post a picture? as for glass that can take a high heat, it's ceramic glass, all new woodstoves use it and pyrex bowls are made of it.
