Need old compressor pump ID

That's an old refrigerant compressor. Value? Whatever you can convince somebody to give you for it. It's too small to be of much use, other than for airing up tires and very intermittent air tool use.

Don't think that's a refrigeration pump. Most don't have an intake and exhaust in the head, but the intake would be in the sump so oil/refrigerate flows over the crank/rod. Looks like an air pump with disc valves, meaning it is probably high quality. But, very small so limited uses. A pic from the sides would help id the maker.

Looks like a late 50's to early 60's Quincy. Slow but stout. If it is a Quincy. some parts are still available from the factory. I've got one that looks pretty similar and will run the tank up to 140 psig, and it's got a 1/2 or 3/4 horse motor from the factory.

I often wonder what people are thinking taking really awkward angles of stuff. Do they do it on purpose?

If you said it was made by Wagner then it was probably an old air compressor for paint spraying... Not a lot of CFM out of that tiny little pump and tank...

I don't think it would have much value considering you can get those pancake compressors for $50-$100 and would put at at least as much air as this if not more.

Might have a little more value to a collector, but I think $50 is about the absolute max you would get. You can find old Sanborn/Sears 20 gallon compressors for $100 or less all day long with the 15-20 gallon tanks.

It does look like an old Quincy. I'm guessing in the 1/2 - 3/4 HP range. There should be some ID marks on the pump. I bought an 3/4 HP Quincy X2 on a 20 gallon tank for $20.
