Hello everyone, I'm new to this site having just joined today.
I was wondering if anyone had experience with Ramset products. Is you have, I'd like to know if the Mastershot is better (more pwerful, ease of use, etc.) is better than the hammershot.
I'm remodeling an old house that was built in 1957 and need to install so base plates for some of the 9walls due to water damage. The treated 2x4 plates need to be attached to a very well cured solid concrete foundation and I just need advice on the proper tool for the job. Possibly find that tool from someone that no longer has the need for it also.
Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated. Navdoc

It would be much better if you titled your post with language pertaining to your actual question rather than making it ambiguous, generic, and unspecific. This will helps folks in the future who will have the ability to search for this post and find historic answer(s) to your question (which they may have, too).

P.S. Thank you for your service.

To fasten the bottom plate to the concrete you could use a Ramset but be careful of the size load you use for fear of spalling, or overdriving/ under driving the fastener. I’ve seen people use a glue type caulk/ adhesive to fasten bottom plates and of course there’s a hammer drill option with the preferred fasteners... Good luck and thank you for your service,
