Hello everyone. I’m new! My name is Robert and I’m from the Los Angeles area. I just bought this 1920s Walker 740 mechanical jack and found out my reversing cam is bent. Does anyone have a spare? Thanks

On a more serious note, you'll be doing well to find someone with that jack that will part with one of the pieces. You may have to fabricate or fix the part yourself.

As far as I can see it is just fine-maybe the angle in the pics is but looks good. It looks like mine.

Thanks for your replies everyone.

On the note that it might be okay. You might be right. This is the jacks problem:

You’ll notice the jack works downward fine until the cam gets pushed too far over for some reason and then the jack falls completely down…with weight on it.

I assume it’s either bent or extremely worn. I’m going to try to add some weld to it and maybe bend it back. (Being cast I’m not sure if that’ll be a good idea) I’m not sure if the weld will stick either. I’ll still try it but I figured I’d rather buy a good one if it’s out there.

And happy 4th of July!
