Hi All,

Been trying to rebuild a Quincy 325 compressor, and found that the cylinders are junk. Turns out that it sat for a while with water or ?? inside and bad rust and pitting set in.

So I need either a newer / different cylinder assembly or oversized pistons...

Fail either of those, I may have a bunch of parts for sale :)

Thanks

Ray

Suggest you contact Quincy and locate their nearest service center. Then take your cylinder (the bare part) over there and talk to their service manager. Lots of places like that keep a boneyard, or collection of usable used parts. If you're lucky they'll let you pick one out for free. If they have one but aren't willing to give it to you they might be willing to sell it for a price you can live with. Or at least you can talk to the service manager and find out if your cylinders can be bored and sleeved.

In Western Washington the Quincy service center is Rogers Machinery in the South Park area of Seattle.

I sleeve Quincy cylinders often. Go to an automotive machine shop & get a price from them. Bring your cylinder with you. Then compare with the used part from a Quincy dealer. It doesn't have to be a Quincy dealer. Any air house would likely have 325 Quincys torn down in the junk pile. Very common machine.
