Need Remline model number

Hello All,

After looking for a long time w/several feelers out there a friend found this 10 drawer 60's vintage RemLine tool chest for me just one county away. It has been repainted and mishandled. Lots of TLC will get it ready for tools again. There was a ten drawer RemLine roller cabinet with it, but he is going to use it himself. I have only seen one like it.

Someone posted some pages out of an old RemLine catalog at least a couple of years ago and I cannot find the thread. Could anyone steer me in the right direction? I need the model number.

Thanks

I had these laying around but they are the same as the images in the referenced thread.

Thanks Tony,

That was the correct thread as the post from the horse13 shows. The ten drawer bottom looks like it fell off the back of a truck loaded with tools. It is usable, but it would take some torch work and/or new sheet metal to get it into good cosmetic condition. It may be available later.

Thanks thehorse13,

Those are the ones I was looking for. Even when opening them up in another window though I cannot read the model number. Is it Model #1110? I appreciate all the help.

By the way Tony, great looking job on the redo!

Did you have to remove the handles? My box looks like it may have been in some water at one time or left out in the weather and I may have to remove some of mine.

I have a few old vises, but all of them are in use and only one similar to yours. The only nut extra is the one turning the handles...

Not sure where you got Tony at but lol, Ya I removed the handles, just drilled out the rivets from the inside and replaced with nuts and bolts after. You can get fake rivets with threads and a nut but I wasn't too worried about replacing with nuts and bolts.

Hi Ryan,

Sorry about that. I am not sure where Tony came from either. Like I said earlier the only extra nut around here is the one turning the handles on my vises... Too much coal smoke at the forge I reckon.

Thanks for the help though.
