Looking for some idea's for a room I have in my garage. It currently has a pool table in it but that will be going down in the basement of the house outside the theater room. So now Ill have this room Im not sure what to do with. Its the first room you walk into entering the detached garage. Its 12x25. These are old pics just to give you an idea. I have a bar area in the main house and with the theater downstairs Im unsure what to do here. Looking for some idea's!

From the garage you enter the door in the lower right.

Here is the room

With the pool table in it for reference

Wood working?

Office?

It looks to be protected from the elements so it begs to be used as a 'clean room'.....crafts, office, etc.

That's make a great garage office place to hang out if friends stop by. Put a desk in there, some filing cabinets, book shelves and a white board on the wall. Looks like there's a coax jack in the corner, toss in a flat screen and a couple of cheaper recliners that you can pick up from a place like Menard's or Rural King.

Custom wrap around couch that covers at least walls. Mirrors on the remaining wallspace, ceiling and floor. Then a firemans pole in the middle.

Take cover at the door

If it were mine I would use the space to put in all sorts of cabinets so I could store all sorts of special tools for doing different type of jobs.

I think I'd like a room like that for a desk/office, maybe a TV if I want to watch football and disappear for awhile. I have a large collection of catalogs and reference books, machine manuals in lateral files, etc.

If not that I'd either put abrasive metalworking (grinders, sanders, etc) or woodwhacking machinery in there to contain the dusty output. Definitely a dust collector but it just keeps it separate.

Could also hide wood working stock or metal stock (raw materials) in combination with above.
