Hello All,
Found this forum while commencing on a search for a missing part for my Morgan #87, so maybe someone out there can help:
Found the vise in my fathers basement after he passed. I needed a good bench vise and adopted it, however I noticed I need one outer pipe jaw for this particular model.
While I have the thicker center (which mounts in the dynamic side) and one outer which is thinner and shorter than the center, and of which two mount on the fixed side. with the center dynamic side sliding between the two fixed to clamp down on small diameter pipe.
FYI, the center jaw will not fit in the slot for the fixed outer jaws.
Dimensions on the one (fixed) I need are:
overall length: 2.625" (2 5/8")
height: 2.125" (2 1/8") and
thickness .500" (1/2") thick.
For comparison, the center (dynamic) jaw is
overall: 3.750" (3 3/4")
height: 2.125" (2 1/8")
thickness: .625" thick (5/8")
Please note: I do not need this jaw.
In the attached image, the jaw at bottom is the one needed. The top jaw is the center (dynamic) shown for comparison.
Thanks in advance to all those who can assist!
Phil
