We are building a new house and I'm also building me a new 30 x 36 workshop. I don't really do much auto work maybe change oil or just normal things it's mainly gong to be a place for my boat and extra car and a place to keep my tools. I've got it painted now I'm wanting to do something to the floor before I start moving my stuff in I got 2 estimates on epoxy and it was about 6000.00 and 4500.00 and a price on stain and clear epoxy for 3800.00. I'm really not wanting to put that much into it and maybe even something I can do myself I've looked at the Rust Oleum stuff at Lowes and done some searching on here is there anything similar to this that would be around this price range that I am missing thanks for any help.

I recommend staying away from the one coat garage floor coating kits that you can get from your local home improvement stores. Most of these are your low budget, low quality products. You really do get what you pay for with concrete coatings.

I would suggest looking into a single-part polyurea coating. These are slightly more expensive, but they are commercial quality and actually even easier to install. More info in the link below.

Thank you for the information and advice I'm defiantly going to do some checking on the polyuria material.

Hi,
Take a look at our SPGX one part Polyurea. Easy to apply and super resistant to most common auto fluids. Gives the floor the look of polished concrete.
Inexpensive and almost goof-proof.
