Hey guys,
I was hoping you could suggest some resources for some basics on adding on to my garage. I'd feel comfortable doing the work, but just have no idea where to start! My garage is 12' x 24' and is way too small. Construction is traditional wooden frame walls with brick exterior and concrete floor.
My biggest concerns are the brick exterior, splicing onto the existing joists, and layout.
I was just hoping for some links that you've found helpful. I'll be weeding through the gazillion google result in the meantime!
Thanks!
Johnny

There are books at Books-a-Million about building small buildings & garages.....grab one of them...they take things down to the basics.
