Ok, I am looking to do a "wide body" using factory sheet metal panels. I am looking for a little direction if possible. I don't have experience with this type of work so go easy on me.

The photos show my half ***'d attempts at laying a quarter skin over , basically I am trying to pinch it to create a bulge in the panel.. If anyone has some advice or a direction I need to go that would be helpful.

One of the biggest problem areas I am seeing is trying to tie it cleanly into the rocker panel. The car will have side skirts on it so I was thinking I could blend into that , but I am still not sure how I should finish that section.

Go on you tube and find Fitzie Fabrications.
He has a knack for explaining sheet metal techniques.
Don’t know how i found him, but he really knows auto body stuff.

Also,get onto metalmeet, those,guys know a ton.

I have seen a number of times where people get the flares off one vehicle and graph them onto another

Allmetalshaping is full of guys that are amazing at shaping metal. I would ask there for sure.

I think the advise you are going to get is to stretch the area around the wheel well prior to worrying about the rocker.
