need some help with atlas grinder and compressor (scored again)

so I went back today to pick up the work bench and stools I bought yesterday and I picked up a few more gems. The prices on these things were crazy yesterday. The sale was run by the children of a retired electrical engineer. The oldest daughter was walking around with her ipad pricing things off of ebay sales. Needless to say prices were pretty crazy on certain things yesterday. Today was a different story. I bought a L&R ultrasonic cleaner (I guess my wife can have her roasting pan back) that was 150.00 yesterday and 50.00 today. a paasche compressor that was 30.00 yesterday and 10.00 today. Also got this atlas grinder for 15.00.

I want to use the grinder and compressor. is there anything I should do to service them before I used them? can i service the bearings on the grinder?

forgot to ask, would this compressor be ok for the work bench? by that I mean would it be practical to use around a garage/workshop?
