I bought a bunch of expanded metal at sale. Only needed a few pieces and I have probably about 15-20 pieces of 5'x4'. I'm going to make a gate for my garage door when I have them open the dogs don't get out but not sure what to do with the other stuff... So what would you do with it?

I'd keep 3 or 4 pieces for future projects and sell the rest on CL. Which part of PA? I might can use a few pieces.

So what would you do with it?

A picnic table with pipe for structure and expanded for seating and tabletop.

A big old smoker with expanded for shelves.

Hang a sheet in the wife's "industrial look" kitchen with a mess of S-hooks for pots & pans.

Build 4 wintertime slip-on covers for the front concrete stairs that get insanely slick, with angle iron on three sides.

Use a piece to imprint a pattern on the NEXT set of concrete stairs i pour.

Build a shelf in the canopy of the kids truck to convert it from one story to two.

By the way, since this is the fabrication forum and all, if you have a stick welder, there's no quicker way to cut expanded metal than 6011 at high amperage. If you think I'm nuts, give a try......

Angle iron and all thread would give you a nice loft or two for the garage ceiling.
