Need some lighting ideas

Hello guys-
In my new garage build (28 x 27) I'm intending to run a strip of flourescents down the center of the structure front to back, probably three sets of four. Going down the center they will not be obstructed by overhead doors. That is straightforward. I'm going to sheetrock interior and paint white so they should throw quite a bit of light down. But...

I like to work on my cars and also want to have some kind of lighting that would be wall mounted to throw off lights more or less horizontally to really light up the sides and hopefully lower areas on the vehicles. I will have two walls 27' long with ample room to do most anything. I need some suggestions. I was thinking possible some sort of track type lighting that was moveable but haven't really researched it. What are some good options for lighting the horizontal plane?

I just don't think the ceiling mounted lighting will be sufficent to really light the lower areas on the cars and I hate working in shadows.

Any thoughts much appreciated and pics too!

most guys that do paint and bodywork put strip lights horizontaly on the lower part of the walls. Unfortunatly that kills any storage on a given wall.
