Hi , Been reading this site quite awhile, lots of great info. I have started a project I've been wanting to do for quite some time, building a 30 X 40 metal building to use as a shop. I'm in Florida by the way , they poured my pad about 4 weeks ago, all went well till it started to rain just as they were finishing the second half of the pour. they did a machine finish and with the rain I wound up with a white cement coating over the area. I have tried acid washing it off to no avail. So one half looks normal the other is like it's whitewashed . Any suggestions on how I could fix this, really don't want to Epoxy paint and don't trust a stain will make it OK. Will post pics soon as I figure out how. Thanks:dunno:

the concrete on top surface got weak due to the rain and over work, you just got to live with it. pressure wash it at about six months but its going be rough

Pictures would be good. However you are likely looking at a grind to remove the weakness caused by the rain water.
