Buddy cut out a skid plate for his bronco. I have a 50t press, so bending it should be a piece of cake. My old press brake accessory was 1/2"x4" for both the ram and the bed (I'm not sure if that's actually what the die rests on, but that's what I'm calling it.) anyway, it takes less than 35t to bend 1/2"x4" the hard way. So, not to be beat by this, I build a bigger, better, badder, brake. 1x9 ram, plus the 4" tall punch pressing down. 1.25x5.5 bed plus the 4 way die pushing up. 4 gas springs for return. Now it's a piece of cake! I need to get some shorter punches and dies, or cut these down. The thought of standing at an abrasive chop saw for 30 minutes does not appeal to me!
