Need to decommission some RV power poles

I have around a dozen of these RV poles on the property I help maintain.
Most of them are laying down from the wood post being rotted.
I need to remove them per the owner.
The meter socket has been removed from the main breaker panels so no power going to them.
Do I just disconnect the hardware, cut the ends flush and tape them up and bury them in the sand?
Any better way to do this?

If the wire is in conduit, pull the conductors & cut the PVC below grade & be done with it, sell the wire for scrap aluminum alloy has scrap value, not worth the trouble to strip though. As already said by others, verify that power is disconnected.

I will definitely be checking each one with my meter before I tear these down.
I am pretty sure they are aluminum wires.
