I think you have the upper shock bearing housing upside down. I am looking at the bearing housing trying to figure out why the snap ring is being loaded in compression. I don't really like that. What brand camber plates are you using?

Yes, interesting that the pics show the bearing portion in differently than what he shows in the instructions. I have reached out to him to see if i messed up and put these in wrong.

Judging by the pics, you could have that lower spacer machined down to allow more threads to pass through the upper potion. Another option would be machine two spacers with shoulders, one on each side of the bearing instead of one spacer going through the whole bearing.

Can you pull the strut and stack all of this together as it should be assembled on the car and shoot some pics. This will give me a better idea of your options.

In that exploded view it shows the bearing portion installed the way i have mine installed and what the instructions show. I have been working with him on these for well over a year now. I asked him to look at my install pics to ensure i have instakked them correctly.

I put a drop of green loc tite and the single nut so i could drive it down for emissions testing. Bolt held but i just dont feel comfortable with that for racing. I will have to remove the strut and take the cc plate apart to get that pic so it may take a couple of days. I am now on Christmas decorating detail! LOL.

You shouldn't be pushing against the snap ring, it should go the other way.
