We have another antique 4-globe light like this one in my back yard that I want to plant in my front yard. I was OK with running the power out to the BY light as I came through siding and was able to seal it up. My FY light will need the power coming through brick and I worry how to seal it properly. So I have two questions.
1. I'd prefer not to run conduit down from the eave on the front exterior brick. My plan is a short run of Romex from an interior outlet to a new work blank cover interior box, connect to UF, then out through the brick to a weatherproof box, then run the UF to the FY light. For safety sake, I ran the BY light UF through flexy LiquidTite conduit and plan on doing the same in the front. How do I seal the hole where the UF from the interior dummy box feeds through the brick into the weatherproof box?
2. I'll have room in the weathertight box to mount the daylight sensor. Is this OK to do? I'm kinda thinking it's not OK but where else & how would I mount it?
If this overall plan is not the best, please let me know what would be better. Thanks
