Need to see vaulted ceilings

My current plans for my new barn build are for a combination of flat ceilings and vaulted ceilings. First 12 ft as you walk into the building flat then turning into vaulted rest of the way. I originally had only planned for flat and was using a 4/12 pitch roof. The most ceiling pitch my truss designer can get out of a 4/12 roof is a 1.5/12. If he increased it to 5/12 he can get me 2.5/12. I prefer the 2.5/12 as I don't think a 1.5 would have that much visual impact. I am planning a false front on the building to replicate an old 40's or so Buick dealership and changing to that 5/12 pitch roof is going to require redrawing the whole thing and possibly messing up the proportions/scale of the facade. Not to mention increased materials and a steeper roof than I prefer. So what I am looking for are real pictures of anything anyone has between a 1.5/12 to a 3/12 vaulted ceiling pitch. I know I could probably do one of those Google Sketches or something but that stuff is too technical for this old coot. I am doing graph paper sketches and that is what I will need to redraw if necessary. Needing to order the trusses next week so have to redraw and make up my mind by early week. Any help greatly appreciated.

(Architect here) you can frame a vaulted ceiling with 12" (+) deep 2x engineered joists @ 24" o.c. ..... Here's a photo of my "drive-thru" garage 23 feet deep.... you can increase that span with deep joists... I have a Danmar 7000XP 4-post lift (7+ feet clear underneath).... I put a 4foot wide flat ceiling at the apex to run water, power, speakers, etc...

struggling with orienting the photo.... sorry for the reposts

Can you explain that in a little more detail. Specially the 12" deep 2X part. So maybe you're saying that by doubling up on the trusses I could get a 3 to 4/12 ceiling pitch? Although it may be for naught as i certainly can't afford twice the number of trusses than originally planned. (Just the added cost for 5/12 hurt) I've been resketching my front elevation to reflect the new height required for the 5/12 pitch so I may be ok.
Here is a peak preview of the false front of the building. I again got into Google Sketch and tried to play with it but really don't have time to learn it well enough to finalize anything before the build starts week after next.
Thanks for taking time to take those photos Steve. I just rested my head on the desk in front of the computer screen and from that viewpoint could see what you were showing very well. :eyecrazy::lol:

and btw, what is that incredible Rolling Stones poster you have there??!!!!

I think that VegasSteve was saying that he used "engineered floor joists" as rafters rather than using (scissor) trusses. He is also saying that you can use
engineered joists as ceiling joists (for the flat part of the ceiling)---with the warning that taller joists are needed to span wider distances

Thanks Tom, I think you're right. I've played with the height dimensions of the front and don't think the 5/12 is going to hurt the proportions that much anyway so will be going that route.
