Need to vent a small storage room

I have a small storage room (6'x8') where I keep my automotive cleaning supplies and a normal size refrigerator.

The room is accessed through a steel exterior door that is mounted in a factory steel frame. The door is darn near airtight/watertight.

Since I've installed the door to replace the older wooden door (Which had a vent in it) I've noticed that there is almost no air circulating in the room (really there is no reason there should be with this door) but the lack of ventilation to the "outside" is causing my fridge to have a great deal of condensation build up on the inside. My AC repair guy has told me that he sees this all the time where there is not sufficient air circulation around a fridge.

The exterior of my house has hardiplank lapboards on it. This room has two walls that are exterior walls (I could cut a vent through the wall).

If I cut through to the exterior of the house (back side of the house - not visible to anyone) - any suggestions on how to make this look decent?

What type of electric vent fan should I install in the ceiling to keep the air moving? Maybe put a timer on the fan? Suggestions?

Finally - I'd like to install an overhead LED light that has a motion detector in it so that when the door is opened the light comes on automatically. Any suggestions for one of these?

Thanks.

Metal hollow core door (but not flat) it has 4 "panels" on it.

Ideally, I'd like to find a vent that would fit in it but I've not been able to find any thing that looked decent - got any suggestions?

Thanks for the response.

From your description it sounds like you need to do as you say, and cut in a suitable sized vent that can handle the CFM of whatever fan you choose for air circulation. You need to allow for fresh air coming in to exhaust the moist air going out. I think flexible dryer venting will handle your needs and can be run wherever there is physical space available and make it a clean looking installation.

Thought about a dryer type vent but might want something "larger"?

Suggestions?

Thanks.

Are you a DIY type?
Two dryer vents, (one for in and one for out.)
The in may need the flap removed.
Put one of those small computer style fans in the out.
Just let it run 24/365.

You can get motion detector switchs that fit into a 2x4 switch box.
