Need vise help...

Ok, salvaged this neglected Morgan Milwaukee 60 bench vise today, and may need a little help getting it back into shape. Here's how it looked when I got it home:





Disassembled, with a Snap On F80 for size reference...

This piece, I am not sure of the name, is not staying in place...




I'm assuming there should be some sort of flush mounted set screw in this hole to lock it in place?

Here is a pic of one of the jaws, not sure I will ever get the screws out to change them over:



..and I am not sure if I should try to remove this internal collar or not. Seems like it may need to be adjusted a bit, but I am not sure....

I may give that a try. Either that, or I may just hit it with a soft wire wheel and see how much of the surface rust I can get rid of.

I started posting before you were finished... Heres a good picture for general parts names. Every vise is built a little different but for the most part the same.
The main nut should be stationary held in place with screw, bolt or pin. The Jaws May lessen up with the electrolysis bath like I posted. After that some penetrating oil and a hand impact driver will help.

The place I got the Morgan from also has a Columbian vise that is roughly the same size, still trying to weasel my way into it...
