So I now have 2" conduit running into an LB connection that enters house just above the sill plate. Good thing is that where it enters is only 3 feet from house panel I'm tapping into. Bad thing is the cavity is trapped with HVAC ductwork and plumbing. I have just enough room to maneuver maybe a little more than the thickness of the wires through the cramped area to have a clear shot at the panel. I thought about running sealtite but it's not nearly flexible enough and 2" would never squeeze through.
I'm pretty sure I can't run four strands of #2 THHN exposed from the LB to the panel even though it's in my basement?
I could possibly run 2" conduit from the panel up to about 16" from where the wires come through LB that would leave only 16" exposed.....?

Any thoughts hints tricks tips appreciated

The only code compliant way is to put in a large j-box where the wire enters the house and transition to SE cable to the panel. SE does not need to be in conduit. Individual wires need to be in conduit so even the exposed 16" is a code violation.

Bring your conduit into the house in a different spot. Or take some pics so we know what you're working with.

Pics would help a bunch, can you fit a slightly smaller conduit or sealtite or flexible metal conduit though? IIRC you can run 5 #2 thhn though 1 1/4" (or is it 1 1/2"?) There may be a code issue with reducing the size but having the reduction at the LB might be fine.

Thank you for assistance, I ended up dropping down to 1-1/4" Sealtite after LB.
It worked like a champ and inspector gave me his blessing on it so all is well in hell...
Thank you again...
